Former Minister of Aviation, Joseph Kofi Adda dies at age 65

Former Minister of Aviation during the first term of the Akuffo-Addo government, Joseph Kofi Adda, has died.

The former Member of Parliament for Navrongo Central in the Upper East Region died at the age of 65.

Mr. Adda died in the early hours of Thursday, October 14, 2021, on arrival at the Legon Hospital, according to a relative.

The relation who spoke to Accra-based Citi FM said the former minister had been battling with ill-health for the past few years.

The late minister was a Financial Economist and a Management Consultant.

A former Deputy Minister for Agriculture, Kennedy Nyarko Osei, confirmed the death of his former colleague on social media and commiserated with the family.
