The National Service Scheme (NSS) has released pin codes for eligible final year students from all accredited tertiary institutions to register for the 2021/2022 National Service postings.
According to the management of the NSS, a total of One Hundred and Ten Thousand and Nine (110,009) pin codes have been released.
Final year students are therefore encouraged to visit the Scheme’s website to access their Pin Codes using their respective Index Numbers and Dates of Birth.
They are also expected to pay an amount of GH¢ 40 at any ADB branch across the country after accessing their pin codes on the website.
In a statement dated April 28, 2021 and signed by Gifty Oware-Aboagye, Deputy Executive Director, NSS, students were advised to rely more on the use of Mobile Money for payment due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
“However, in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic, it is recommended that MTN Mobile Money be used to reduce the frequency of human interaction.
“Payment of GHS 41.00 is expected for those who use MTN Mobile Money to activate their Pin Codes.”
All prospective NSS persons have been advised by management to complete their enrollment process by Wednesday, June 30, 2021.
