President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has indicated that security is a shared responsibility ad urged Ghanaians to cooperate with the police and help them perform their functions effectively.
“The prevention and detection of crime is a shared responsibility between the police and the public,” President Akufo-Addo said on Friday October 1.
He assured the general public that the Police and other security agencies will work hard to deal decisively with threats posed by criminals.
“The police will deal decisively to the threats posed by these criminals,” he indicated.
The President’s comments has come at a time when parts of the country have been experienced robbery activities and other forms of crimes.
President Nana Akuffo-Addo was speaking at the graduation ceremony of the 50th cadet officers’ course in Accra.
