The Ghana Education Service (GES) has rescheduled the reopening date of first year students at the Senior High School (SHS) level from March 10 to March 18, 2021.
Cassandra Twum Ampofo of the Public Relations Unit of the GES in a press release, indicated that the plan is to offer students and parents enough time to prepare for the start of the 2020/2021 academic year.
She further stated that management of the schools will also utilize those eight days to make their respective institutions ready for academic work.
Teaching and learning activities are expected to commence for SHS 1 students on Monday, March 22, 2021.
Meanwhile, management of the Service said, it has granted the request of the Heads of Senior High Schools to have the mid-semester break from today, March 8 to Thursday, March 11.
